The Anderson Arts Center is hosting an exhibit reception on Friday, July 10, 6:30-8:30 pm for the Anderson Artists Guild Membership Show. The reception is sponsored by Knobel Investments.

The Anderson Artists Guild (AAG) is a group of aspiring and accomplished artists dedicated to celebrating and promoting the arts. The Guild offers monthly membership meetings and provides opportunities for artists to show and sell work; learn from area, regional and nationally known artists; enjoy social events, open studio activities and workshops; and become involved in community arts projects.

Approximately 120 pieces of art have been submitted for the membership show, and awards will be presented at the opening reception.

In addition to the Guild exhibit in the main galleries of the Arts Center, father and son duo, Frank and Nat Morris, will have their works on display in the Atrium Gallery. Nat Morris has served as a board member for the Anderson Arts Center, and his work has been accepted into the Arts Center’s Annual Juried Show numerous times.

The public is invited to attend the reception for both of these wonderful exhibits, and both exhibits will be open to the public through August 14. Also, please plan to peruse the Bay 3 Artisan Gallery located in the Arts Center Warehouse.

While viewing the exhibit, the Anderson Arts Center encourages social distancing, using hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building, and wearing face masks at your discretion.
