Basket Making with Nancy Basket

Basket Making with Nancy Basket : Join local fiber artist Nancy Basket for a basket making workshop using split kudzu and wisteria vine. Nancy began experimenting with the “notorious” kudzu vine after moving to the Carolinas in 1989, and shares her Native American heritage by re-telling ancient legends orally and through her art. There are no mistakes – just have fun! This class will use two pervasive vine rings for your freeform. Tickets are $36 and include one beverage along with basket-making supplies. Students are encouraged to bring their own clippers.
