December 2nd is our Christmas Parade and tree lighting ceremony. Our parade will begin at 3:30pm. The parade route runs Main Street starting on North Main near Belton Farmers Market and ending on South Main near Ingles supermarket. Our tree lighting will take place on the lawn of our historical depot, which is located in our downtown area on Main Street at 5pm. During this ceremony we will have Christmas carols sung by our local school choirs, awards for parade entries as well as The City of Belton hall of fame induction.
