PM as Joe Hursey tells us about Henry Hammett and the founding of
the Piedmont Manufacturing Company. Hursey is a retired US Air Force
veteran and a former Research Coordinator for the Archives Center at
the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. He is currently
working with the Piedmont Historical Society and will share what he
has learned while working with their archives. Henry Hammett was a
successful industrialist from the late 1800s. Come and learn about the
impact he had on the Upstate!
