Historian Gary Powers, Jr., presents, “Spy Pilot: Francis Gary Powers, the U-2 Incident, and a Controversial Cold War Legacy.” In this presentation, he will examine the U-2 spy plane incident that took place during the Cold War and dispel the conspiracies surrounding it. He will also discuss how his father was posthumously awarded the POW Medal and Silver Star. Copies of his book on the subject will be available for sale afterwards.
