Brian Latimer is in his fourth season as a professional angler. The Belton native competes as a professional on the FLW Tour where he has amassed over $200,000 in career earnings. Latimer won his first FLW Tour event in March 2019 when he won an FLW Tour event on Lake Seminole. The win not only cemented Latimer’s place on the FLW Tour but launched his already tremendous social media presence to new heights.
Latimer grew up in Anderson County in the town of Belton and represents Green Pond Landing and Event Center, which is a nationally recognized premier tournament facility for fishing tournaments on Lake Hartwell. In addition, Latimer is quick to note that Lake Hartwell is his home lake.
In addition to the support from Green Pond Landing and Event Center, Latimer is supported by sponsors such as Z-Man, Favorite Fishing, Gator Guards, T-H Marine, Bill Lewis, Wiley X, Mustang Survival and Falcon Boats.
Latimer and his wife (Rachelle) reside in Belton and have two sons (Brevyn and Brooks). Latimer enjoys riding dirt bikes with his son (Brevyn) and playing the bass guitar and spending time with his family.
Brandon Cobb is in his sixth season as a professional angler. The Greenwood native spent five years as a professional at FLW before making the transition to the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2019. In five years as an FLW Pro, Cobb earned over $400,000 in winnings and qualified for the FLW’s Forrest Wood Cup four times where he finished in the Top 10 in each of the championships he fished. In his first season with the Bassmaster Elite Series, Cobb won his first professional event when he won the Bassmaster Elite Series at Lake Hartwell in April 2019.
Cobb, who calls Lake Hartwell his home fishery, went to college at nearby Clemson University and was instrumental in starting the bass fishing club at Clemson in 2008.
In addition to Visit Anderson, Cobb is supported by sponsors such as Yo-Zuri, Ark Rods, Zoom Bait Company, Greenfish Tackle, Abu-Garcia, Falcon Boats, Lowrance and Mercury.
Cobb and his wife (Amy) reside in Greenwood where he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
