Library Hosts Law Talk Series with South Carolina Bar
(December 21, 2022) – The Anderson County Library System will host the Law Talk series sponsored by the South Carolina Bar. The Law Talks series is a legal education program designed to educate the public on their rights and responsibilities under SC law.
On Thursday, January 12 at 4pm, a Law Talk on Wills, Estate, and Probate will be at the Iva Library, and End of Life Issues will be at 5pm at the Lander Memorial Library in Williamston. On Thursday, January 19 at 4pm, a Law Talk on Social Security will be at the Iva Library. On Thursday, January 26 at 4pm, a Law Talk on End of Life Issues will also be at the Iva Library. The Law Talk series is free and open to the public. Registration for each Law Talk is requested. Each Law Talk Each session is led by a volunteer licensed attorney or judge and will have a Q&A session following the discussion. The Law Talk series has been in existence for 40+ years and is primarily funded through an IOLTA grant.
