OPENING WEEKEND IS HERE FOR LARGEST SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL IN SC
Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, SC to host Sunflower Festival for families and flower-lovers
Anderson, SC (July 8, 2026) – With more than 8acres and 75,000+ sunflowers in their 100 acre field, Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, South Carolina is proud to host the state’s largest Sunflower Festival the weekends of July 11-19, 2026.
“Sunflowers radiate pure joy, and we are absolutely thrilled to share that magic with guests traveling from across the region to celebrate the summer season,” says Catherine Garrison Davis, co-owner of Denver Downs Farm.
“We love welcoming families and friends to enjoy the beauty and capture the incredible photo opportunities! There are over 20 creative photo ops spread throughout the sunflower field.”
The SC Sunflower Festival kicks off its 8th season with picking, photography, frozen beverages, and light food options on July 11.The festival activities run Saturday and Sundays:
- Saturdays 9am-5pm
- Sundays 9am-5pm
On the two Saturdays, there will be a professional photographer at the field that will be available to take your photo and send it via app (MAE – Making Memories matter).
Photographers are always welcome and may take photos during public times, or reserve private photography session times.

The Vine and Barrel Beer Garden will be open featuring Sunflower Sangrias and Flower Froze. Strawberry and traditional lemonade will be available. Food options include kettle corn, hotdogs, and chicken fingers
Children’s activities will be limited to non-staffed activities.
Dogs on leashes are permitted to attend and have a separate admission.
Admission may be purchased online or at the gate for photography and you-pick.
Tickets online are $12 per person all day admission to the flower fields.
A large bucket of u-pick sunflowers is $29.95, souvenir jars of u-pick are $19.99.
